Omori emotions1/3/2024 ![]() In this episode, find out how he shaped the sound for Ray of Light, what he thought of Pro Tools when it first came out and which single hardware synth he’d take with him to his Forever Studio.įollow the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Castbox. According to Orbit, The Painter is an emotional outpouring of art, having also designed and painted all of the album’s artwork. For the new record, Orbit has enlisted a strong roster of promising talent, from synth-pop innovator Georgia, singer-songwriter Katie Melua, folktronica artist Beth Orton, and more. Makes him extra vulnerable. Now, the British hitmaker has returned to the studio and has a new album out on 26 August called The Painter, eight years after his last self-released album, Orbit Symphonic. This conjoined with the loss of control means you can't even be strategic about it and use multi-hit attacks.īecomes Angry when Delirious wears off: Omori has just spent 3 turns tanking every hit, and then is immediately put into a state which lowers defense. If you're unlucky you might even do a grand total of 0 damage. Those criticals better deals in the several thousands to make up for missing even more than Manic. Hence, any aggro drawing effects are terrible on him and a nuisance in almost every instance. Omori is the leader, Omori being downed means game over. Only gives net positive with atleast 4 enemies, and that only happens against weak swarms)ĭraws aggro: I think this is self explanatory. (3 debuffed allies, 1 or 2 debuffed enemies. Mass debuff: Most battles have enemies be the ones outnumbered (Especially bosses) so a debuff to every entity present just means your team as a whole becomes weaker. I feel like Delirious is bad in every way. The only thing I'm on the fence about is, I think there maybe should be a mechanic where Omori gets exhausted after using a tier 4 emotion and becomes vulnerable for the next few turns, unable to attack, but I dunno. Never thought about it much.Įither way, I'm really proud of these ideas. However, the rest of the party gets an attack debuff, as seeing Omori in such a broken state breaks their battle spirit.Īfter eventually pulling himself back together, Aubrey helps him to his feet, and seeing how she was there for him combined with him finally letting out all that pent up negativity, makes him happy.Īs for Terrified. Aubrey gains a large defense boost and stands protectively in front of him, meaning any attacks that would normally hit him hits her instead, including attacks that would normally hit the whole party. He falls to the floor, curls up into a ball, and cries. Once he finally cools down, he'll become sad, sad that he puts his friends in danger like that.ĭevastated: Omori's tough exterior completely crumbles under his despair. It might just flat out instantly TOAST them. If Omori hits a party member, it's gonna be devastating. He'll also hurt himself in his rage, wounding himself greatly. Whoever Omori crashes into will take massive damage, whether it be his original target or someone that he got led into attacking, whether it be party member or foe. So a high speed enemy could lead him into your party members, or a high speed party member would lead him into the enemy. If the target's speed is higher than Omori's, he'll be led into the target's enemy. So yes, he'll go after party members if they made him snap. Wrathful: Omori goes berserk and charges at whoever finally made him snap with murderous intent. ![]() After that, he becomes angry, angry that the enemy had to ruin his mood. Omori will draw aggro as a result and will attack random targets, missing very often. Note that these tier 4 emotions would be both positive and negative.ĭelirious: Omori laughs uncontrollably, making both friend and foe extremely unnerved and reducing all stats. Because he's finally snapped and can't stop to think before acting. Note that both friend and foe can contribute to this, if the foe has emotion changing moves, and once Omori finally loses control, he'll be unable to have his emotion changed until it wears off naturally.Įach of these tier 4 emotions would have different effects on the battle, obviously, but they all share one thing in common: You can't control Omori anymore. It'll show a message in chat for each of these times.ġst time: Omori's resolve begins to falter! They would be achieved by getting him to tier 3, then repeatedly using the same emotion boosting item or skill on him 4 more times. So, only Omori would be able to feel tier 4 emotions, obviously. (if you don't care about how my ideas for these emotions, I'd suggest you move on to another comment now.) In fact, I even came up with entire mechanics based around these emotions.
